I am so happy and I would like to share this news with you all. An hour ago my cell phone beeps and the message from USCIS says to go check online for "My Case Status". I was both happy and worried at the same time praying that they approved. I logged in and saw that they approved my I-129F. I went down to my car to drive to the beach and I could not stop having a smile on my face and saying 'yes yes yes'. I called my financee and gave her the good news, we both got really really happy.

I sent my I-129F on March 12th and received the text message on March 18th. Today is also the 18th of July so it took exactly 4 months. I am so so happy right now and I will get ready to use the notes that I got from you on this website to for the next steps.

Thank you all

Thank you guys and do you know if I can still check my application status on the USCIS website for dates they send to NVC or the HCM embassy?

Call NVC next week to see if they have your case. They will tell you it's going to take 15 business days for your case to arrive at NVC. My case took 6 freaking weeks. Don't bother calling USCIS. They got no freaking clue and useless.

Once it gets to NVC, You will get a case #, and they'll send your case to HCMC. Check my timeline and other people for approximate time frame.

How are you doing on FB stocks? It looks like you've lost all that gained from previous sells. I just jumped in when it hit $29. Going to sell it if it reaches $32.

I am helping my fiancee to fill out the DS-230 Part I form as a draft because NVC have not received nor sent to the HCMC our petition. Once the HCMC sends package 3 (Instruction package for K visa) to my fiancee, they probably include the DS-230 and DS-2001 forms in the package, to staty ahead and not waiting much time, I am helping to fill out this forms as drafts that I downloaded for her so when she receives package 3, she can use these sample forms to fill out herself.

Please help us with the following questions.

On Form DS-230 Part I

Question # 10. Permanent address in the United States where you intend to live, if known (street adress including ZIP code). Include the name of a person who currently lives there.

Telephone number _________________

so they want to know the name of the person who currently lives there. Is that my name as the petitioner ? and my phone number?

Question # 14. Spouse's Maiden Or Family Name

My fiancee should put N/A for this question right because I am her finance, not yet married so she cannot put my name down for Spouse's information correct?

Q10-- your info

Q14-- N/A. You guys aren't married. You can't refer to one another as "spouses".

P3 is just a piece of paper telling you to go to HCMC website and follow their instruction. You could save about 1-2 weeks here. Read my signature.

Thank you vyx.

Minutes ago I called NVC at 603-334-0700 and they said they just received my package from UCIS and they issued me the HCM xxxx xxx xxx number. Wow, things are moving very fast now. They said they will send my petition to the Ho Chi Minh Consulate shortly like in the next few days.

Things are moving so fast now.

Now that I have the HCM case number, I'll go update my Timeline now.
