Question to any of you on the Ethiopian Portal, I'm planning to go to Addis next month for my husbands interview scheduled for the 21st of August, and wanted to know, IF my husbands interview is approved, does it normally take about a week to pick up the visa from the bank of abyssina? or can we request for it to be ready any earlier? thanks!!

In Kenya the visa is issued at the embassy. I did my interview in 2008 and picked up my visa on a Friday which was about one week from the interview date. All the best on your husband's interview!

Visas are picked up a week later in most all countries. My husband has his interview on Monday . I am expecting for him to pick his up a week later. We will see.

Thank you for the reply...the rep at the embassy said the same, about a week..but it depends on case..could get visa sooner..but normally, a week..hoping for the week time frame as I am going there to be with him during his interview.

Visas are picked up a week later in most all countries. My husband has his interview on Monday . I am expecting for him to pick his up a week later. We will see.

Looking at your timeline, it showed your case was initially denied......how were you ble to work around that to finally getting the visa?
