Ok so I got approved but we had to file the waiver for Alan, well when we went to pay the courier neither of us had our mobiles on us, we had left them in the car and neither of us could remember our numbers, OK, OK put it down to old age

Anyway the young lady gave me a receipt for the cash and told me to call the number after 3 today (had the interview yesterday) and my passport is being sent back to me tomorrow, how quick is that then but to top it all it means that I will have to sit and stare at the "mysterious brown envelope" that dare not be opened remember, for the next however many months it takes for Alan's waiver to be approved

That is cruelty in itself

no worries MrsWhizz, one of those hard knocks that life can throw at you, at the end of the day we will come out stronger and no matter what Alan and I will always have each other and guess what it is our Silver Wedding anniversary on the 13th November , would have been truly wonderful to spend it with our daughter and family but it is not to be, just have to look forward to the next big one and hopefully we will be out there

munchkins I am sorry that you have had a set back.... I have been following your progress so I can get some idea of what my mum and step-dad will have to do when I file for them to come over...

Awww Val, that is cruel! I'd tell you to hide it from sight but then you might lose it! That would be -bad-.

Well today I have received my visa and I must admit it looks pretty good in my passport, it will now go in the pride of place on my sideboard until the one for Alan arrives, whenever that may be
