I don't know if someone already updated you guys, but anyways...

We called USCIS today because we are supposedly out of processing times as our NOA1 date is 14th February.

However, we were advised that Vermont is currently stuck on the date 9TH JANUARY, which makes us 36 days away from the "expected" NOA2 date..

I am so angry and disappointed, and sad, and everything... Is this what we get for choosing the legal way to do things? Is this how they motivate people to do so?

I am so happy for all these other couples that are getting approved on time, but honestly - it makes me shed a tear for every application I see approved with NOA1 date from March...

Sorry, this turned out to be a bigger vent than an update.

Unfortunately this isn't much of an update since they've been saying Jan 9th for over 2 months now. You can keep up with all of us over on the Jan and Feb forums where many attempts have been made to involve congresspeople, senators, priests, moms and Tom Cruise.

I don't mean at all to make light of your venting, trust me when I say I know exactly how you feel. At this point they are saying it's not worth involving a congressman/woman until 30 days PAST 5 months, which for you is August 15th.

I've given hopes up of seeing it before August 9th. CSC is faster, but that's not going to make VSC faster. I'm sorry I don't have anything to offer in the way of solutions. Keep your chin up, we'll get there

It truly breaks my heart to see you having to wait so long... we March filers have nothing to complain about when we see you still waiting. It isn't encouraging to know that we will also have to wait even longer. Is there no way at all to get VSC to get their thumb out??

i'm happy to see we are not alone in this mess, but really sad to see that we all have to be in this mess. i'm 2 days over the 6 month mark and when i talked to the uscis yesterday about filing a service request he wouldnt even take one saying i was still in the normal processing times..sorry to say there is no standardization in this process only drone misinterpretation of the guidlines
