Enough evidence to enter on B2 while waiting for NOA2?

Good Morning everyone,

Getting a bit nervous about my flight to see my fiance. Our NOA1 date is June 11th and I am flying out to Las Vegas this Sunday to visit him for a week.

1.I don't have a lease any more so would a letter off my landlady signed, dated and with a contact number be useful?

2.My employer is giving me an official letter to confirm employment (letter-headed)

3.I will have a return flight but this is e-ticketed (no paper ticket) and is on standby so unconfirmed. Anyone think this may cause problems?

4.I have the original NOA1 here in England with me, shall I take this back to the states with me? Or just a copy? Don't trust the man to look after it properly thats why its with me.

5. The letter provided by my company. Can this be used more than once or is it advisable to ask my employer for a new one each time I want to visit the US?

Any help greatly appreciated! I've been through LAS many times before, prior to petitioning I-129F and they do ask about my boyfriend each time but the M word has never been mentioned so far. Does anyone know if the border agents can see on their screen if a K1 has been petitioned? I generally refer to my man as my boyfriend as we have not announced our intent to marry to all our families and friends yet. Is it advisable to keep using the term boyfriend (at least until he puts a ring on my finger, grrrrr)

Thanks guys, Ciao!

Claire

Answering what I can...

1) Do you mean you lost the copy of your lease? If so, just ask your landlady to make a copy. If this is not what you mean and you are no longer leasing a place, how do you have a landlord? If you are going to have her write a letter I would have her put her address and phone number and sign it in front of a notary public. If that's th best you can do then that's the best you can do!

4) it wouldn't hurt to take the original and some copies.

5) you should probably get a new letter from your employer each time you travel, as using an old letter would be out of date.

I believe the border agents will be able to see that you have been petitioned.

You should call him your fiancé as that is what he is. A fiancé visa has been petitioned for you wether you have a ring on your finger or not.

I asked that question of CBP at the airport (IAH) twice--"can you see on that screen if a fiance petition has been file?" They told me no.

They saw mine on the screen and I knew they were telling the truth because they got the date we filed correctly. I believe they can see it if they check. They only checked mine once during one of my visits , other visits were fine
