06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Well with the issue of Hawaiian Birth Certificates and residency, what are they going to do? Tell any politician born in Hawaii they can't hold office?

On the issue of the coding there are two nines - one for race of father and occupation. Neither seem all that important from a birth location stand point. I'm sure if I gave this "cold case" unit my birth certificate they would find anomalies as well.

Do you have an Hawaiian birth certificate as well? :unsure:

I have a Connecticut BC with an error on it. Hmmmm. When I was a four year old, I used to tell people I was from Hawaii because I had long brown hair, and brown skin, ergo I was Hawaiian. Maybe I was actually right! unsure.gif
