One more thing... are they (NVC) going to send me a reply also? or are they just going to send everything to Manila without notifying me?

They will notify you. ALL notices i received from manila embassy my husband got too.

Hello and congratulations. We didn't wait any time. I called the NVC to get our MNL# after about 3 days. With the MNL# we tracked the package (DHL) and had the interview set up to coincide with the physical.

We had the interview physical and completed before we ever received anything stating the package was in Manila.

I think you'll get alot of good feedback in the Manila forum!

Hello Friends! I have just recently found out that my petition was approved. But the NOA2 letter says to call the consulate in Manila where my fiance will have her interview. Im a little confused. Do I bypass the NVC? and call the embassy in manila directly or wait a few days and call the NVC? So far I haven't recieved any case number or any response from the NVC. Hope someone can help... congratulations,on your noa-2 approval, you need to wait a while until in gets in the system 15 days or more then start calling nvc for your number use that number to have your medical done,

You can start calling anytime, and every day if you want. Sometimes the MNL case number is available very quickly (a week or less) other times it can take the full 15 business days. In your case it has been a week already. If you are in a hurry like most are, call every day until you get your MNL number...

Oh. That is not what happened to us. I called after about 7 days and received the case number over the phone and was told that the file was already at the Consulate in Almaty. The Consulate e-mailed my then fiancee with the packet and all information including the interview date. NVC never sent me anything. They just send it off to the Embassy/Consulate after assigning a case number.

its really strange.I got a letter from the NVC with the case number and telling they will forward it to the embassy in amman.
