Hello Friends! I have just recently found out that my petition was approved. But the NOA2 letter says to call the consulate in Manila where my fiance will have her interview. Im a little confused. Do I bypass the NVC? and call the embassy in manila directly or wait a few days and call the NVC? So far I haven't recieved any case number or any response from the NVC. Hope someone can help... :) Godbless you all.

Your time line shows your NOA1 is July 8 and your NOA2 is July 10 - in just 2 days you were approved? Or did you put make a mistake in filling out your timeline?

NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

Call NVC to get your Manila case number. Anything from now on is specific to your country. I just throught I'd answer your original question, don't think you had an answer yet. Then, the regional forum might be a better help with the process, and looking under embassy information here on VJ.

:)

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

One more thing... are they (NVC) going to send me a reply also? or are they just going to send everything to Manila without notifying me?

they also going to send you a letter telling you about the steps they have done for your petition.

when they received it,the case number and the date your petition left the NVC.
