I posted this in the wrong area earlier, so I'm re-posting here. Sorry! We were approved on July 6th at the CSC. On July 9th, the NCV received our petition. They haven't put it into their system yet, but I'm just glad that CSC sent it over.

Out of curiosity, how do you know it was received if it's not in their system? If there's a different way to ask that might get me a different response than I've been getting at NVC, I'd lovvvvvve to know!! Congrats, by the way! :D

I HOPE WE ARE SOON. WE GOT OUR NOA1 MARCH 2ND. AS OF YESTERDAY WE SHOULD HAVE HEARD FROM THE USCIS. I CALLED AND THEY APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY. THEY TOLD ME THEY WAS WORKIING ON THE FILERS FOR FEBRUARY 16TH AND TO GIVE THEM ABOUT 1 OR 2 MORE WEEKS TO GET TO OUR CASE. SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE FILED After we did and recieved a noa1 after we did and now have the noa2 by now. i asked about that and again she apologized and said that they are working as fast as they can and that they are going case by case each day. I PRAY SHE WAS RIGHT THAT IT WILL BE IN 1 OR 2 MORE WEEKS FROM NOW. WE HAVE WAITED THE WHOLE FIVE MONTHS AS OF THE 2ND OF AUGUST.HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER HAD A LONG WAIT LIKE THIS?

We waited 190 days (just over 6 months) but it came when we least expected. I know hearing the words, "hang in there" or "be patient" won't do you much good right now but that's all one can say during this long difficult process. It will come soon don't worry :)

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. YOU REALLY OPENED MY EYES TO THIS. I JUST FELT SO BAD WHEN OTHERS WE KNOW ARE GETTING AHEAD. MY HUSBAND KNOWS OF SOME THERE NEAR HIM GETTING AHEAD OF US TOO. THERE IS NOTHING OR NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT IN THE USCIS, BUT THE ONE LADY REALLY GAVE A HONEST ANSWER TO THE TIME AS MUCH AS SHE WAS ALLOWED I COULD TELL. SHE APOLOGIGZED TWICE BECAUSE OF THE TIME THING. I THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO RESPOND TO MY QUESTION AND SEEING HOW LONG IT TOOK YOU CALMED MY NERVES. LOL.
