hello everybody ,

i am writing to you and hopefully someone out there could have an idea or an advice to help us resolve the complicated

issue we are facing.

i am a Moroccan girl married to an American citizen , we have known each other for 3 years and we developed a strong deep bond that

leaded to a marriage on November 2011.

we filed the paper work for k3 on last October and got approved lately.

the problem was raised when the NVC contacted my husband for submitting some other documents among which they requested

for my original birth certificate with my father s name on it .

and here is the issue my parents got divorced and after the divorce my mother found out that she was pregnant but after

she delivered me to this world she dropped my father s last name , gave me hers and raised me on her own .

my real fathers name remain only in one document which is my parents s marriage certificate .

we are lost know and we feel like we are stuck in the middle of nowhere.

please if somebody has any idea of how we can solve this problem do not hesitate to respond

thank you in advance .

Hi, just write them a letter of explanation with your case number on the letter and attach your birth certificate and your moms marriage certificate and if she has a divorce certificate that will be even better because that will show that you were born after divorce and can clear the whole issue. I can assure you that the letter of explanation will work but don't forget to attach the paper work and write on the letter your case or receipt # plus the letter they send to your husband. Good luck.

it s true that sometimes when your directly affected by a problem you become so stressed that you cant even think straight.
