Hi all. Today we went to civil surgeon below:

1229 - Brooklyn, NY

Dr. Asya Benin

2116 Avenue P, Brooklyn, NY 11229

(718) 338-1616

It is very bad experience! We had all the vaccination (DS-3025) and they refused to transcribe it to I-693. They are saying that the whole I-693 must be filled and they can not fill out only parts. Also, they took syphilis test which is totally unnecessary. Total charge was $130. I know this is not a lot of money, but still it's a rip off. If you live in this neighborhood try to find someone else. Avoid them 100%!

Why you complaining about $130 and they can't fill out what you wantt them to fill out they have rules they have to follow the syphilis test is a must I'm not getting why you complaining about ..smh

It most certainly is not a must. Someone adjusting from a K-1 is not required to get a new medial exam if they had their medical within a year of filing for AOS. No part of the exam is required again. None of it. No blood work, no STD testing, no TB tests, no physical exam, etc.

You can read the instructions for the I-485 and I-693 that state this.

Civil surgeons tend to make up their own rules and overcharge simply because they can.
