I have a question about the W2's and 1040's. So we have decided we are not ordering his tax return from IRC, because he already has his 1040s and W2s. My question.

1. will copies do? Or do I need to show the originals?

2. is this all I need for his tax forms? is there anything we are leaving out?

We are also including recent paystubs and a letter from employer. Will this be enough?

P.S. I am sorry if my questions sound naive, I am just really concerned about these tax forms :)))

Thank you everyone :)

2-3 years of history will be fine. They come in the mail about 5 days after you order them, and they are free. Most embassies prefer these.
