I think people have to admit that sometimes this board is wayyyy too sensitive....if you don't agree or if you say something that's different, you can be accussed of being nasty & unsupportive.

Right - but don't you think it's incredibly nasty to 1) ask for advice 2) be given loads of advice 3) instead of saying "thanks" or saying nothing, to create a topic just to tell those people who gave advice that THEY were unsupportive and to call them names?

I can take the heat but there is NO way I am going to waste my time answering questions for some guy whose response to my help is to tell me to kiss his "bumper" and to call me his "######" even if he WAS drunk and thinks we all listen to the same ####### music he listens to.

I think there are ways of saying things that can make the same point come across completely differently. And I think sometimes people intentionally word things to make them come across harsh, hurtful, or otherwise ugly. There's a way to be helpful, rebuking, whatever, without being rude.

Like calling people mofos in a different language? ;)

Sorry, Mel, couldn't help myself there

I'm still confused why {A.} A person that was drinking would want to come on VJ, I mean, VJ great, but it's not exactly the mecca of drunken socialization and {B.} WHY a person would be spending time on VJ WHILE at his fiancee's house. That's a long way to fly to get on a message board. Smells fishy.
