Lawyer needed...

We live in Miami.....

My wife has just been made redundant from her job in the United Kingdom. She has no problem with this.

The problem is that she has been sent a Compromise Agreement to sign and this has to be countersigned by "Competent person under section 203 of the employment rights act 1996".

I will quote here the relevant section,

"The employee has received advice from a relevant independent adviser as to the terms and effect of the agreement and in particular as to the effect on his ability to bring any claim before an Employment Tribunal."

Our problem is finding a Lawyer to complete the form for us. Does anybody in this forum know of anybody in the South Florida area who may be able to help us.

What I need is a American Lawyer who can practice in the UK.

Cheers Ken.
