who does the scheduling NVC or Manila Embassy?

You or your fiance does the scheduling. First, you have to call the NVC and ask for your case number. After then, you can schedule your appointment for an interview. You must pay the application fee before setting an appointment though. You can go through the US embassy website and they will give you a site as to which you can set an appointment either online or by calling.

K-1's schedule their own interview date. CR-1's gets their interview schedule set for them.

I already paid all the neccesary fees, I was just tryin to anticipate stuff coz i wanted my wife to be here atleast before my birtday which is sept. 7 :dance:, so regardless fo what category we are is it us who can schedule the interview? I dont know what is the difference between K-1, CR1 mine is IR1 "spouse of US citizen" or are they the same :unsure: ?

So if NVC schedules for interview for IR1 its no brainer that they do schedule for IR2, im just worried what if my wife will get earlier interview date then how bout my son or vice versa, im jsut wonderding maybe there is a way to have their interview on the same date.

IR-1 is the same as CR-1 except the CR gets a conditional green card because the marriage was less than two years.
