Hello everyone!

I am nurse working here in Riyadh for nearly 12 years now. I applied previously for a US tourist visa way back 2007 without declaring my parents living there as legal permanent resident and unfortunately got denied. The reason was due to insufficient strong ties. The CO suggested me to apply in my home country instead to bind myself anything I have there. Now I am reapplying it again equipped with strong ties. My question now is, will it hurt my US tourist visa application if I am going to declare my parents on it? My father got his US citizenship on year 2009 and my mother is still under US Legal Permanent Resident (LPR).

Thanks for your kind help

You must indicate you have family in the US as you fill out your application. It is ever a good idea to lie to CO. Tell them the truth, show them you are returning to your home country and go with it.

Good luck!
