Hi, I am scheduled to appear for an interview in less than a month from now. I was just chatting with my fiance, and he asked me to make sure if I need him to send me the original NOA1, NOA2 and NVC confirmation letters since he is a bit apprehensive about sending it fearing that they might get lost in the mail. Can anyone here please tell me what to bring? To those of you who have done this before please let me know what I need to bring to the embassy in Manila. Thank you

Yes, you would need those and some DS forms too,This is the main set of mandatory documents. But then you may also need to a set of supporting docs for the I-134,pay stubs and employment record from your fiance. and further evidence about your ongoing relationship. Photos, phone records, letters, plane tickets, bank accounts etc. You may need to bring your NBI clearances, police clearance and your cenomar.hope this would help you

Never ever send documents through the mail. Use FedEx of DHL. You have been warned!

Agreed, i learned the hard way and my original i-129f took 2 months to get delivered. 70 days to get my NOA1.

LESSON LEARNED.

Make sure to bring an updated letter of intent to marry as well, plus a letter from his employer, his taxes for last year, pay stub, and bank statement. They can basically ask you to produce just about anything.

On the DS forms, bring the DS-156 (bar code on the document) and DS-160 CONFIRMATION (bar code on the document). The consular in Montreal had computers to be able to fill in the forms, however, the DS-160 they can not print as they will not take the liability of the confidential nature of this form getting into the wrong hands.

The interview part was actually enjoyable, the pre-interview, where they evaluate that all of your documentation is intact, was extremely stressful as I used an American lawyer that didn't do a good job.

Best of luck and just remember, you are closer to the end, than the beginning.
