:( :( :(

we knew the odds upfront but still....it sucks

her interview was less than 2mins.

they asked her about ME. DOB, how long you are married and why I don't sponsor her. she told them I have filed the paperwork and its pending. they gave her the denial slip and told her she can try again :bonk:

she said there were over 250ppl there in line :wow:

anyways am gonna go visit her instead...

Sorry about that :(

'try again' the usual reply. They still would not give it to her. You will have to do all the travelling for the time being so at least you will see each other.

I was denied on my first attempt on getting Tourist Visa then I applied for the second time and they gave me a multiple entry for 10 years. It is always worth to try one more time:-)

that is scary she said there were so many ppl there.....large families being denied and crying as they are leaving....

That seems a bit weird, I can not think of anywhere I have been on vacation to that I would have been that upset if I had not gone to.

Fortunately there are plenty of other options.

well the issue boiler is that it is third world country there are not many options. ppl are so happy to go to canada, england, USA or any other country but its really difficult though not impossible. my situation was even more difficult to overcome.

There is the whole of Africa to see! Hardly an issue to cry about there are nearly 200 countries.

And India etc etc.

As an aside I remember when Air Nigeria check in was net to United at Heathrow. I have never seen such vast quantities of luggage.

The cynical amongst may thing that other motives were at play.
