Hello

I was thinking and would like to do this. Once my fiancee get visa (k1) her mom will try apply for tourist visa (b2). If her mom get tourist visa is it ok for them to get in usa together. Is there a risk for my fiancee or mother in law to be denied entry?

06/12/2012 === NOA2 received by Email.

06/12/2012 === I-129F touched.

07/02/2012 === I-129F touched. (I hope it is gong to NVC ;) ) (NOA2 approved for 2nd time)

07/06/2012 === 2nd NOA2 official hard copy received from USCIS. ( I am furious about getting my application approved for 2nd time. I wonder why they did it? )

07/10/2012 === NVC left

07/16/2012 === Consulate received (via DHL tracking)

While it is rare, one can be denied entry into the US even if given a fiance visa(only seen it once due to a CMIT over looked at the consulate)

The tourist visa, yes she can be denied. Nothing about having a tourist visa guarentees entrance into the US

I mean when they both will enter the USA at same POE. I would like my fiance and her mom come on same plane therefore they will talk to same officer. It rise my concern will her mom send back because her daughter a k1 visa holder.

So for tourist visa is chances get denied will be higher in this case?

We cannot tell you what will happen, it is up to the CBP, your mother-in-law should carry additional ties to her country when entering on her tourist visa

If she gets a B2 visa it should not be a problem.
