Hello VJ friends,

I have sent an I-864, I-864A, and DS-230 (Part 1 and 2) ORIGINALS to NVC, so would they need these originals for the interview in Ankara?

Well, since NVC has the originals, it'd be impossible to bring them with you to the interview. I do suggest bringing copies of everything you've ever submitted to USCIS and NVC though, for that "just in case" moment.

Thank you. I hope we get our interview soon.

I just called NVC this morning, and they told us that we weren't scheduled for next month (August) :(

and that we have to call back the first 2 weeks in August to see if we will get an interview date for September.

We have waited for over 2 months now for a interview date, and our case was finished on the second of June!

I'm very sad!! Is it normal for the NVC to take this long to schedule an interview for Ankara??

you can check other people's timelines that have interviews in Ankara. Or you can have someone else do this for you or maybe someone from Ankara will chime in. But if I was you I would look myself first, then ask questions later.

best of luck to you and congrats on your NOA2.

Time frames for an interview will always vary by country. I suggest you do some research, this might help you get started: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=3&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op7=Turkey&dfile=No&adv=

My advice: keep calling NVC and DOS every day.
