Hi All. So by the looks of things CSC are zipping through their I-130 applications whereas Vermont are on a bit of a go-slow. I'm guessing the answer is no but thought I'd ask anyway.... Is there any chance you can get your petition transferred to another office and if so is it worth it (I mean if they do allow it does the transfer take as long as it would've taken just leaving the petition where it is and waiting for the NOA2?)?

Thanx in advance for your replies. Hope everyone's having a good Monday so far :)

However, on occasion Vermont will send petitions to CSC for adjudication in order to lighten their load. That happened to us, but there is nothing YOU can do

USCIS has been known to transfer files between service centers on their own, but I am not sure if you can request this yourself. If you look at the history of processing times for both service centers you will see that it is back and forth as to which one is processing faster.

I would equate you wanting to transfer your file to changing lanes to the "Faster" lane in heavy traffic. Stay in your "lane" and they WILL process you in due time. Many couples are waiting for VSC to speed up right now.
