Hi All,

Hopefully there are some of you that experienced this....

We need to submit the I864 but we still haven't received the tax transcripts from the IRS(Might take 2-3 weeks to arrive in Australia)

We need to submit the DS230 but I'm still waiting for my parents to send me a army release form from overseas(Might take 2-3 weeks to arrive in Australia).

Apart from the above I have everything ready.

Do you think I should send the above without the missing documents?(I can state that I will bring them for the Interview....)

Anyone had this type of experience?

Many thanks

Personally, I would send an email to the consulate in Sydney and explain this to them and ask for their answer. Then if it is to send the package and bring the missing docs you can include a copy of the email in your package. The email address is listed on the Canberra Embassy website. Best to look it up yourself in case it changed since I sent them an email. Make sure you put your NOA receipt number or A number if you have it in the email, along with personal verification details, it makes it easier for them to notate your file if needed. Some one else may have a better idea, or think this is a bit over the top, so just do what you are comfortable with.

Good luck.

NVC will not close your case until all documents are received and reviewed. You cannot send partial documents and simply say "oh I promise I'll bring them to the interview"

If it is required at NVC your case will be delayed until all documents are received. I'd wait until all are ready to be send off together

Good luck

You're better off waiting for the documents. It will take longer if you receive an RFE from NVC for those missing documents.

Call NVC and ask a human if they can waive the requirement and let you bring the documents to the interview. The worst they can do is say no. Don't try to do this in writing or by email. They tend to either ignore these emails or just don't send them to anybody who can make a decision.

I would wait and collect all documents to submit, nothing is missing.

Because I don't want to cause any confusion.

And receive any checklist from NVC to delay our case.

Yes, it's an idea to write an email to Sydney consulate.

However, Sydney consulate doesn't have your file now.

How can they will allow you to do that?

All the best!
