CXC and its equilavence in the US

I am not quite sure if someone here can help clear things up a bit for me. I am concerned about my CXC qualifications and what will become of them when i migrate to the US after my CR1 visa is obtained. I wish to further my education by enrolling in a University to persue an Associates degree in business management. I will love to find out what will become of my current qualifications from Trinidad and Tobago? Please give me as many answers as you possibly can VJ's

Did you have a high school diploma after you passed your CXC and did you get passing grades on your CXC? If so then it will be an equivalent to your high school diploma.

CXC examinations and certification are accepted regionally and internationally.

So it should be fine in the USA.

In Trinidad and Tobago we dont get a diploma when you complete secondary school. You write CXC. There is no diploma.

Mine was accepted. I don't think it will be a problem. Once you have a copy of it you will be fine.

As long as you graduated high school and can prove that, you can get into college in the states. If you're a certain age, SAT scores aren't required. Look up individual college websites for their admissions requirements.

Walk with the trasncript of you CXC passes. I enrolled and the college granted my passes as equlivant to 1 yr US college (this all depends on the college). Just walk with your transcrip.
