I have worked for the IRS for 37 1/2 years. 32 1/2 as an IRS Agent. I can't wait till I get my M-4! rofl.gif

Those guys in the picture are IRS Special Agents. They do criminal investigations and have always been allowed to carry sidearms. The article is talking about transfer pricing which is a civil matter and is investigated by IRS Agents. IRS Agents are not allowed to carry weapons. IRS Agents and Special Agents are not the same. Not everybody that works for the IRS is an IRS Agent. To the general public it may seem that way but it is not true.

Just looked at the above image closely and it looks like it was photoshopped. Look at how the "I" in INTERNAL covers the front part of the pistol barrel. rofl.gif

:lol: I didn't notice that until you just pointed it out. Also it looks like the gun might have been pasted onto that photo by looking how the hand is holding it and the shield.

You need to get with the current Conservative meme about the IRS. We are supposedly Gestapo not the SS or SA troops shown in the picture above from the 1937 Nuremberg Rally. headbonk.gif

I wouldn't know. As soon as I left the Reform Party and joined the Democrats, I stopped getting audited. Coincidence? I think not!
