Im just confused on this form, is it my name or is my sons name i need to put on the form?

The Petitioner is the one who is filling.

Both names will be on the form.

I put my son's name on Part. 1 (information about the intending immigrant) (You or you adopted child) <==== this makes me comfuse.

and on Part 2 Reason for Exemption, I check the box it says "I am uner 18, unmarried, immigrating as the child of a US citizen and will automatically become a US citizen udne the child citizenship act of 2000 upon my admission to the United states."

since my son is only 8 years old I did signed this for him.

I wanna know if I did it right?

The I-864W is for the intending immigrant. It's their declaration that they are exempt from the requirement to have a sponsor. Since your son is under 14 you can sign for him. It says so right under the signature box:

(Signature of intending immigrant, or of U.S. citizen parent if intending immigrant is less than 14 years old)
