I am quite a bit worried about my EAD.I already have received interview notice to be done next month.

However, as what I am expecting most is the EAD but sadly I have not gotten any "touches" my USCIS. Its been like 70 days from my filing of AOS with EAD and AP.

Another thing strange is I DID NOT get any email update or SMS updates from USCIS regarding my i-485(AOS adjust to permanent status). It was only when I check the uscis website that I knew that they are sending the mail. I also subscribed for email and sms notification..

Has anyone been in same scenario as mine??

Please help.

----AOS Journey-----------------

04/28/12 - Mailed AOS package

05/03/12 - E-mail/text notifications received (NOA)

05/09/12 - Appointment notice for biometrics received

06/12/12 - Biometrics done

07/12/12 - website update saying they mailed an Interview Letter Notice

EAD/AP ---- ???????????????

Your case is moving along fairly quickly. Some people have received their I-485 approval before the EAD. It can happen. You don't even need or use the EAD and AP once you have a green card.

Seems like you are worried because your case is moving along swiftly. I wish I had had that problem. Should you be approved for your GC before EAD/AP are ready (which can take 90 days), you simply won't need them at all.

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

I am in the exact situation, when I check the uscis website that I knew that they are sending the mail and have an interview next month.

And the EAD still under Initial review and no card yet.

Someone posted this on a another page regarding the same issue.

"Do not trust their website. We were still in initial review and the combo card arrived. Never received any notification about being approved until the card showed up in the mail. If I was a betting person I would say both AP and EAD will arrvie shortly as they are now on the same card.

Good luck,

Dave"

So hopefully it will in the mail soon.

Did you receive the actual interview notice in your mailbox? I don't think there's a reason to fret here. luv.gif When I filed for AOS 2.5 years ago, I also received my interview letter before my EAD and AP were approved. As long as you have the proper documents during your interview and you and your husband answer consistently, you are fine. My actual EAD and AP showed up in the mail four days before my interview. After the AOS interview, the IO asked for both my EAD and AP. He said that I wouldn't need those because my green card was coming to me in a few days so he's keeping them. Good luck!

I have the interview notice..Im just concerned on the EAD as I've passed on some employers who called me up for interviews just because I dont have the darn EAD yet..

FOllowing the supposed to be trend, my fellow MAY filers have gotten theirs..Im just one of those mishandled by USCIS stupid folks..

I also filed in May. I was transferred to CSC though. Am still waiting for EAD and AP to change from initial review. I'm SUPPOSED to be going to Canada next month, starting to get very nervous! Don't want to get plane tickets without the AP but can't wait too long either. Arg.
