Any way to check case after receiving case no. from NVC?

I just wonder if there is any chance that I can track my case online after receiving the new case no. from the NVC?

NO as far as I know. But, u can call them. That is what I did. Have ur uscis receipt number ready. When I called them they told me when they received both petitions. A few days later I found out the petition for the K-3 already left for the consulate. SO just give them a call. Best wishes.

After you get the NVC case number you can email the consulate for updates. In my case I will wait at least 45-60 days before even bothering our consulate, I know that they wont even have it in their system until then.

You can not track your case online while it is in the NVC. But you can email and call NVC. The email is: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov and the phone no is: 603-334-0700, option 1 for English, then option 5 to speak with an operator live. When you email NVC, make sure you write down your USCIS receipt number or NVC case number in the subject line.

You can call the NVC and ask if it was shipped to Germany. Then, using the DHL method, you can have some idea when your case gets to the embassy...not always, but sometimes. Then simply email the consulate and bada bing!!!! You are in business. Good luck!
