I'm 20 and just married my husband in his home country (costa rica) and tomorrow makes a month :) The marriage certificate just came out and my husband has gotten it. He has taken the passport style photos of himself and will mail it to me soon. He's never been to the U.S.. I am thinking about going in for an interview instead of mailing everything out. I have some photos of us, but I am getting phone history of the past months, which we talk every single day. I have plan tickets, a post office slip of when I mailed package, money gram print out slips, and a video of our marriage. (We just did it through the state). We didn't have a wedding, but we're planning on having one in a few years once he comes over to live. The problem is that I'm not sure if that's enough information. I can answer anything about him if the officials ask, but I'm nervous if what I have isn't enough evidence. Another thing is that I am currently a full-time student and live with my parents. My parents, no problem, will vouch that they will be my co-sponsors though. They will give us just about everything we need to help support. My dad owns his own repair shop, so he is willing to give him a job, and we plan on living with my parents until I finish school and have my career set. Since I just got back from Costa Rica, I had to get a new part-time job, which hopefully will be for long-term. Anyway, I want to make an appointment soon to get him over here by the end of the year or start of 2013. Also, I was reading about the k-3, but I'm not sure I understand it too well. Once you submit the documents for i-130, your spouse can come over as they're making decision for him/her to stay?

Any thoughts at all?? ANY kind of help is greatly appreciated!! thank you guys so much!!

one post removed for tos violation:

Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.

one post removed that quoted that tos violation, post returned below minus the quote

No No No No, this is asking you to make a fraudelent statement. This is against the law and can get you in a lot of trouble plus being banned!!!

Here is a link for you to read for yourself what you need to do. You do not need a lawyer. You need to educate yourself with the process like thousands of others have done here on VJ. CLICK HERE FOR HELP this link will take you to the guide here on VJ for your process...

Once you have read through the guidelines, then if you have specific questions, people here are glad to help. But first things are first, it starts with you reading the guidelines and requirements.

Best of luck.....!!!!
