Hi all,

Medical next week, just concerned for my interview. I have my final court paper which shows my last marriage to be dissolved, however I have none of the papers from my first marriage or the marriage certificate from my second marriage. As I'm applying for a fiance visa and the guidelines state that all 'married' applicants need copies of marriage certificates am I going to be OK without these or do I have to somehow obtain them to take to the interview.

Thanks for your help.

Steve

You need certified copies of all the divorce decrees, not just the last marriage. If you're missing one, get it.

You are not seeking a spouse visa, so a marriage certificate is not needed.

I know London instructions have always been a little confusing when they say in K1 instructions that former marriage certificates are needed. (I haven't looked at the latest version of the wording recently but it has been there before because we had the same question.) I can confirm that my fiance/husband did not turn in his previous marriage certificate. People are asked for all divorce decrees.
