Someone's fighting, my Lord, Kumbaya.....

Oops! I mean:

Someone's expressing their opinion, which they have a right to do because it's a public forum, my Lord, Kumbaya....

Ok VP so you want me to send Janine a PM instead of saying it on the board?

Why then did you come at me on the board and not in a PM if you felt what I said was unnecessary?

I don't care if some people here don't like me, I don't like some of the members here either. I'm not here to make friends and suck up to everyone.

The funny thing to me is that you are the very last person I could come up with who should be telling a member their posts are too much.

I didn't tell you to PM her... what I said was drop the insult game when advising. You absolutely do not have to be so rude when monitoring other posts.

Can I just politely remind everyone that we are in the last days of Ramadan, it is Thursday, the night before Friday (Jumuaa) and the angels ascend down from the heavens, to hear the Jumuaa prayers, also I have had to hear my neighbour screaming at each other all day....*wink* *wink*

No you may not and those who would criticize others for what they post will be along shortly to remind you that this has been banned.

you mean yourself? You have done nothing but criticize the way I post. Hello!

No I'm referring to someone posting last week that there are too many Ramadaan reminders on the board.

Esalaam Hello and Salut everyone...a good morning to you all!

Well the husband and i had another *moment* last night...

He called maybe 20 minutes before maghreb (very unusual of him not be home right after asr)...saying he is bringing 2 guests so prepare everything...I like  huh? Enough with the guests already... and I have like what 15 minutes to prepare food for 2 more people....being it Wednesday yesterday I had thought to reheat our leftovers from the day before, made some boureks, a salad,4 flans. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut cursing (astagfurullah) accidently breaking dishes and just be crazy! Finally I manage to make a colourful salad of tomatoes and cucumbers, mix together some leftover stew I had made (there are like enough for 2 people not 4) with some rice I cooked so fast (worrying if was not cooked, but luckily was ok) making 6 crepes and some french toast as I was so pressed for time and could not even think what to do...as they walked in the door I was making the coffee and tea. Wheeeeuuuu! My husband came to kitchen saying "woooooooow".....I was sooooo surprised and happy :luv: .I sat in that kitchen just so tired eating my 1 bourek and half cup of chorba (since that is all that was left)...My husband came to me again saying to get ready we are going to Alger ....I thought hmmm Alger, we must be going to the masjid in Bab el Oued (the masjid I like so much)...so I hurried get ready and the 4 of us left. The two men, probably in their early 20s looking quite shabby greeted me so kindly ...that made me happy and thanked me for the dinner. I didn't recognise them but thought they were probably my husband's friends. We drove in the car, them polietely asking me answers which I found delightful after being basically ignored and just talked about not to by others...

Pizza Hut...always works for me!

Excuse me? ####### is this? The person that originally made the comment about Ramandan reminders is MULSIM so why do you have to make such a tasteless comment?. I am not muslim, VP is. Maybe she should refrain from fighting. I also don't tell people what to do on VJ when Christmas and Easter rolls around. I don't post prayers and I don't make threads about Jesus.

Watch out! The Ramadan police are around every corner making sure they don't think you have broken your fast. Please have your fasting log sheets ready to be turned in at the end of Ramadan for their inspection.

 I have noticed there has been quite a bit of "patroling" going on latley by our own members. I think people should be treated like adults and if they choose no to take their religious holidays seriously then that is on them. I don't see why people feel the need to tell others how to act.
