Why is it I see that some of the same people that don't believe anyone should be policing (did I spell that right?) posts are the ones actually doing it?

If by 'some people' you mean me...I'll tell ya why I was bored yesterday, I noticed pic she posted....was lightly razzin her about the 'is that you or is the pic copyrighted, and then I googled & saw that it was indeed copyrighted. I'm not tellin her what to post and what not to post....but I will say I couldn't help but point out the problem. I felt since she's all © ™, she would be the first one to respect someone else's...but guess not!

Yes, the whole © ™ amuses me to no end, and many times I'm like a dog with a bone...but it was fun to see someone who makes a public statement be so disrespectful of the same thing when it comes to other people. And if ya ever catch me in a similar situation...by all means, bring it to my attn!

Nice you're amused Lisa, but perhaps you don't realize WHY some of us have chosen to use the disclaimer. There was a "circumstance which we are not allowed to mention" (per Ewok's instructions) that was not so pleasant for some of the members here. If you stood in those shoes you may not be so amused.

of course I remember that which shall not be mentioned....but if you're going to ask for certain respect, shouldn't you be willing to offer it in return?

I'm not being flippant here, I'm really curious.

But you still actually haven't answered the question....did you actually trademark the name and copyright the info? Or are you just being 'cute'?

If one says they have trademarked and copyrighted the something, then they have. All you need to do is indicate that you have, and tada, it's done.

Now, registering the trademark and copyright is a whole other ball of wax, and is helpful is two people claim copyright or trademark to the same thing. Registering can help determine who has priority.

And I've already told you that the pic is all over the internet on various similar sites, most of them having their own disclaimers that don't even include your porn site's copyright. (You should already have known this, if you really understand how to Google as well as you've bragged.) Have you contacted all of them yet to report their "hypocrisy" ? More importantly, since you so adamently profess that you're *not* a "hypocrite" yourself, have you yet removed your own posts on this very site containing copyrighted images ?

As you've been told **twice** already -- there are a myriad of pic sites that have the very same photo. Some have their *own* copyrights on it, some have *none.*

And as I've already pointed out, it's very clear -- you really couldn't care less about all that. What's really bothering you (as inane as it seems) is the basic idea of *me* copyrighting and trademarking *my* own property, because you were on about it long before any cheesedoodle pic.
