Hi VJ Friends

My interview was done in june 2011 and still no decision yet.. no update online status check.

But yesterday i got Biometrics fingerprint appointment letter again.

So my questions are

1. Is it normal to get Biometrics again?

2. In january it will be two years to our marriage and if i got approved after january 2013 will i get 2 years conditional greencard Or 10 years Unconditional greencard.?

3. Now I am Earning 100,000 a year so is it be ok that my wife Quit the job and in 2012 Income taxes only my Income Shows on IRS Tax returns ( after filing jointly) because my wife want to take care of my step daughter by herself. (she is just 3 years old).

I will be thankful for your useful replies.

Thanks guys and good luck in youe journey to GC. :)

1) I believe biometrics results are only valid for one year, so it is normal that if your case takes longer than a year to process (highly unlikely but it happens, as in your situation) then they ask you to do them again.

2) If, on the day you are approved, you have been married for at least two years then you will receive a green card valid for ten years (assuming you aren't K-1); if under two years then it will be a conditional two year card that you will have to remove conditions from down the line in the normal way.

3) If you are making $100,000+ a year then your wife not working should be a non-issue.

It's possible that you have to go to another interview again, but it's also possible you will just receive a green card in the mail. There is no way to tell until it actually happens.

USCIS are fickle like that.

the IO already interviewed us separately in the 1st interview....all of our answers were matched....he showed me my apartment building by google map or whatever that was...i was not able to recognize that thats my apartment building...but he didn't ask to my wife about that building....he checked my cell phone messages...etc. etc.

when my wife was interviewed he try to threaten her that your husband does not love you...he will leave you after getting GC....bla bla bla....and my wife just replied him that stop this nonsense questions ...i trust my husband...and if he did this to me ...m gonna kill him... :)

Eventhought my wife trust me a lot and we love each other a lot but still sometime u know the words by IO they comes into her mind. (is it normal these type of qustioning by IO?) they even don't think that what this will effect on our life when we will be out of their interview room.

If i got interivew again and can i request them that if you don't believe our marriage then I wanna go for LIE DETECTIVE TEST?

So what you think ...m going to get another interview again?

Thanks Hypnos
