HELP!!!! Abdul and I recieved an email lastnight which said or packet we sent to NVC was missing an Casier Judiciaire. Which I thought was a criminal background check... I called NVC and was told what I sent was Anthropometric Certificate and is not what is needed. My husband is not sure where to get this Casier Judiciaire. Anyone have any idea where we can get this? The girl I spoke with at NCV was no help at all.... All she did was read what was sent to us in the email :bonk:

fiche anthropométrique = police record --- حسن السيرة والسلوك

Casier Judiciaire = court record -- السجل العدلي

NVC needs them both

good luck to you

oh yes we got a 221g at the interview and had to get this document before we got our visa approved. we went to the police station in casablanca and filled out the application for this paperwork and i believe they had to wait a few days for it to arrive from RABAT. but they did tell us we could apply for it from any police station. it was not clear on the paperwork that was sent by the embassy that that form was needed. OH and dont forget to get it translated into english and i believe also notarized and make a copy too.

GOOD LUCK!

I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me... I thought that the NVC only used the documents provided in the original petition packet. If they need both the police record and the court record, wouldn't cases get RFEs from the VSC or CSC before even reaching the NVC? And then, wouldn't it be the Consulate in Casa that would require the updated court/police records for the interview (and thus again, not the NVC)?? Am I missing something here??

Yes for the CR-1 visa you do have to send the police record when you first apply but you also have to send to NVC. I am just finding out that you need 2 for NVC 1 from the police station and 1 from the courts...

SO WITH THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION THER NEEDS TO BE THE SPOUSE WHO IS ABROAD'S POLICE/COURT CERTIFICATE. NONE OF THAT IS LISTED FOR THE CR130 PETITIONS GUIDE FOR DOCUMENTS EXCEPT ON THERE LIST OF DOC. FOR THE INTERVIEW. IS THIS NEW AND THEY ARE JUST MAKING PEOPLE AWARE OF IT?
