my 16 year old brother has an appointment for B2 visa from Morocco, he is high school, he just wanna come visit for 3 weeks and go back, can any of you guys tell me what kind of documents will help him to show strong ties to his country Morocco.

thanks

Morocco is one of the most difficult places to obtain a tourist visa from. At 16 he has little chance no matter what he does. The best he can do is try to submit the fact that he will begin school in a few weeks, his ties to his family ect. He needs to understand the strongest ties rule and overcome that to have any chance. Keep in mind that every person with a visa is considered an intending immigrant.

There is little chance they will even look at his documents. He will be denied the moment he steps up to the window. If not please post the outcome here on V J for others to learn from.

ok, but any kind of specific documents besides the one from school that may help him

Anything that helps him comply with the strongest ties rule. Each case is totaly unique so there is no specific document. He should bring any document that PROVES he MUST return to Morroco. Again this is very hard to do and will be the reason he is denied. His age is a huge problem as well. The problem that must be overcome is the long history of fraud at that embassy. Its much the same in my own country.
