Well we've finally arrived in Abbeville!

We were set back like 4 hours because of a flat tire, but we made the best of it! We took photos and videos of stuff while we waited. The hills in Birmingham weren't that bad but they can get tricky after night fall. We had to slow down quite a bit because we lost a lot of daylight.

We've made some great memories on this trip. I hope the rest goes as great as the past 4 days!

Off to Florida in the morning!

On a side note: Never mix Grandma's brownie cookies with Raspberry 7-up and exhaustion. You get something close to crack cocaine apparently. After eating some cookies we picked up at a gas station a couple of hours earlier, my wife and I just couldn't stop laughing at the dumbest things! I mean hysterically laughing. We almost had to pull over it was so bad. Eventually the sugar rush wore off, but man does my wife have some dirt on me. She recorded the whole thing and I sound like an absolute maniac! lol. Good times.

Ok, I'm off to bed. Need to be fresh for tomorrow!

Finally, we got so much done today! We are going to try to move in some of our stuff from the garage to the house tomorrow morning. And I have an interview tomorrow for a job when I return in x number of months. It will be interesting to see if the company and I would be a good fit.

Will be heading back to Canada next Sunday. :-(

I really don't want to leave. I wish I could just stay here, but we need to money while I wait for my immigration to go through. Hopefully this goes through quickly enough for us. This is the last update I'm putting up for the trip until I return.

So I've returned finally to Canada. I extended my stay for a couple of days because my wife needed me to put more things together for the new home. Can't help but think I made a mistake coming back to Canada. We were considering changing my route and adjusting status from visitor; but we decided against it because I needed to work while I wait.

Hopefully this process goes by quickly. I'm already missing everything about her. We just had our third year anniversary. I hate being here without her. I have to use our old vehicle and I can't even go to our old house since we sold it for her to move back to the US. Everything reminds me of her though. Maybe I should just get a gym membership and work out my frustrations there. I might actually feel better about everything. Got to find something to take my mind off of this wait.

It sucks that this is the way it's got to be. I should have sent that petition in sooner. We wanted to wait to see if she got the job she wanted before we submitted, but looking back now, we should have just submitted the petition and withdrew it if we couldn't move back. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.

I don't know why I came into work today. I'm SOOOO tired from getting in at like 5 am this morning. My flight was delayed due to bad weather in Denver. I finally got to where I live at around 5 in the morning (a good drive from the airport).

I guess I'll try to get some sleep tonight and cath up on things tomorrow. I can barely think right now.
