I called, they said they can't transfer me to a higher rep. because I need a specific reason and my AOS is still within processing time, which is 4 months. Will keep trying.

They cannot tell you that you can't speak to a higher rep., you have the right to do so, and they know it! Call again and tell them you need to speak to higher rep. because you've received EAD long time ago, and you're afraid you might have been scheduled and there wasn't any update on the USCIS website! If they say no, insist on it...they have to transfer the call! You have to tough on them...don't be afraid because they're just ordinary representatives..like the ones from sprint, and cable..lol..really!

FYI, they do make a note everytime you call so calling them everyday could probably delay everything. Just be patient my friend.

that sucks. I think this case is especially urgent since the EAD card has already been received with no word of the interview.

Its very normal. A lot of people get interviews without EAD as well. I called them 33 days after my bio and explained to them that its been 63 days since my application was received and 33 days since bio and I haven't received a RFE so I jusy wanted to make sure that everything is ok with my case. The man said, I seen that its your first time calling about your case. I got interview notice the next day and EAD approval the day after. When I receive my interview hardcopy, the date on there is the same day I called.

The online system doesn't always work so you might even get the hard copy in the mail. You just have to be prepared for the interview just in case you don't get the 1 month to prepare....

I wouldn't worry if I had an interview without the EAD but I would worry if I had the EAD but no interview.

I'm currently on the line holding for the higher tier rep. I called this morning, but after an hour of waiting my call was dropped.

When I spoke to the rep this time, he asked why I needed to speak with a higher rep, and I just stated that I wanted to make sure that an interview hadn't been scheduled, and we just missed any letter or notification as it had been quite some time. He originally said he couldnt put me through, as I enquired about the I-130, for which they needed authorisation from the applicant and not the beneficiary, and unfortunately my wife is at work. I asked him if I could give him the details for the I-485 instead, as im the applicant on that, and he said yes, and then put me through.

Lets hope I can get through this time and hopefully hear some good news!

As for them making a note every time you call. I would HIGHLY doubt that this in turn would cause any kind of delay. The reason they allow you to call is to provide a sort of customer service. I would be shocked if these notes were linked in anyway, to the time it takes to process your forms. Thats just my thinking anyway.

I asked him a few more questions, he said that my case went into the system August 9th, in terms of sitting there waiting for it to be scheduled. I asked if there was anyway to anticipate when the date might be set. He said there was no way to tell, but they normally see most cases work on a 2 month rotation. As 2 months was up for us a week ago, he assumes it will only be a couple more days.

Unfortunately, I don't have the same amount of confidence he does!! The way this is going, were not going to be interviewed until christmas!
