I filed my case on July 23rd. Got Biometrics done on August 20. But since then now news. No interview notice nothing. It seems that most of the people who applied in July have already gotten their interview notice. :(

I got my interview notice almost 3 months after I have done my Biometrics. It depends on how busy your local office is.

I think Portland is relatively busier than other locations. Be more patient. :thumbs:

Day7 -- 2012.05.15 Emails/texts acceptance confirmation at 5:16pm

hey guys...off topic but! does credit follow you to the US? lets say i have good credit, does it follow? lets say i have terrible credit, does it follow? anyone.... ( im canadian if that makes any difference)

What do you mean by follow? If you mean if it affects your AOS application, then the answer is no, not at all.

I had mine done on August 21st and was ready to wait a month for it. I'm just lucky it came 2 weeks later. Give it a month :)

Thanks for your resonse. Next week will be a month, I would be really happy if it comes by then :)

No it wouldn't. It cant. You didn't even have a US social security number. You have no credit history in the US. I came to the US on student visa and I had to build my credit history from scratch.

43 days since I got my biometrics done, and still haven't heard about interview or EAD or AP. looks like most july filers have made great progress. Starting to worry now... I think NBC is handling my case and i got my biometrics done in NYC.

AOS Journey

Day 0 - 7/16 - Sent my I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

Day 2 - 7/18 - Got confirmation from UPS that package was received in Chicago today - signed for by CHYBA

Day 4 - 7/20 - Text and Email Notification from USCIS

Day 5 - 7/21 - Checks Cashed

Day 11 - 7/27 - Received all 4 NOAs

Day 14 - 7/30 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics) for 08/22/2012 in NYC

Day 16 - 8/1 - Walk-in Biometrics completed at the Varick Street USCIS office

Day 64 - 9/18 - Notification for i485 saying Interview is on October 24th

Day 65 - 9/19 - Notification for production of EAD card

Day 65 - 9/19 - Notification that "mailed you a notice that we approved I131 TRAVEL DOCUMENT"

Day 73 - 9/27 - Received EAD and Advance Parole "Combo" Card

Day 100- 10/24 - Interview - Approved!!

Day 106 - 10/30 - Status Update that Card has been mailed.

I would agree with what waiting_for_aos has said because I also came to the US on F-1. I remember I was looking for a cellphone carrier (ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint) and I ended up going with the one I have because the others required a credit score I DIDN'T have at all.

my case is being handled by the NBC too.

07/14/2012 - Mailed I-130 and I-485 packages

07/23/2012 - USCIS cashed our checks

07/25/2012 - Received Notice of Action letters for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

07/25/2012 - Received ASC Appointment Notice for biometrics. Biometrics scheduled for 08/14/2012 in Norfolk, VA.

08/07/2012 - Successful Walk-in Early Biometrics taken at a different ASC location (Alexandria, VA).

08/13/2012 - Called the FBI to ask about biometrics. USCIS have them!

08/27/2012 - Received Interview letter, Interview scheduled on Sept. 28th.

09/21/2012 - EAD card under production

09/28/2012 - Interview in Norfolk - No decision yet :(

09/29/2012 - EAD card received in the mail.

10/01/2012 - Case status updated - Approved! YAY!!!!

10/03/1012 - Card Production!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!

10/10/2012 - Green Card received in the mail! It's beautiful!!!

hey everyone,got my ead card yesterday. Starting to get nervous about my interview ,trying to gather some more stuff with both our names together.

07/02/12 package received

07/10/12 noa1 received

07/19/12 biometrics letter received for me and my son scheduled for August 3rd!

08/03/12 biometrics completed

08/17/12 received interview email

08/20/12 received interview letter

09/12/12 received ead card

Finally received my EAD yesterday. Going to head to the social security office tomorrow I think and try and get everything sorted!

Just need to hold out for that ever elusive interview letter now :(

Day 16 - 07/26/2012 - Completed biometrics walk in.

Day 56 - 09/04/2012 - Received text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 59 - 09/07/2012 - Received 2nd text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 62 - 09/10/2012 - Text notification that EAD has been mailed.

Day 64 - 09/12/2012 - EAD received in the mail.
