well i only got pics, lease agreement, bank account, life insurance, and a few post cards, thats it, i am now expecting but the baby wont be born in time to show the birth certificate

6/29/12 AOS Package mailed Chicago Lockbox

7/01/12 Package delivered

7/09/12 NOA email notification

7/14/12 Received hard copy of NOA in the mail

7/16/12 Received biometric appointment letter for 8/01/12

7/23/12 Successful walk in Biometrics

8/15/12 Received email for interview notice

8/17/12 Received interview notice in the mail

9/10/12 EAD card ordered, (didnt get email or text checked it on USCIS website)

9/18/12 EAD card received in the mail

9/18/12 Interview done, approved on the spot!

9/19/12 Got email that approval notice was mailed out on 9/18/12

9/22/12 Received Approval notice in the mail

9/24/12 Got email that greencard was sent in the mail

9/26/12 Received greencard in the mail, thank you lord!

I think we should be fine right? You have your little one together and I can't see more strong ties to each other better than your little baby (congrats, btw).

The IO should understand that you and your wife; and me and my husband are newly weds right? We are trying to put our things together to start a living with our loved ones and our limitations is something to be considered right?

I just hope we all get all this over with soon! Praying for us all!

ty very much! and yes, i would hope the IO would have common sense enough to know and understand a situation like yours and ours. newly weds with one spouse not being able to have an income legally and in my case my wife a stay at home mom; makes things very hard to have the entire "perfect list" of evidence. anyways, october 4th cant come any quicker. !

ok, well i almost feel really bad posting this, but i got approved/card production for the i-765 AKA my EAD CARD!!!! o ya! all thats left is the interview for the i-485 and the journey is FINALLY over. i really cant believe how fast i got approved and by the looks of others timelines i should receive the card in the mail in 2-3 days. GOD IS GOOD!

I still don't have my EAD card. Is it normal? I got my interview scheduled for Sept 28. But nothing about my EAD card yet...

Is it because I have my old EAD from OPT post completion, even though It doesn't count anymore?

07/14/2012 - Mailed I-130 and I-485 packages

07/23/2012 - USCIS cashed our checks

07/25/2012 - Received Notice of Action letters for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

07/25/2012 - Received ASC Appointment Notice for biometrics. Biometrics scheduled for 08/14/2012 in Norfolk, VA.

08/07/2012 - Successful Walk-in Early Biometrics taken at a different ASC location (Alexandria, VA).

08/13/2012 - Called the FBI to ask about biometrics. USCIS have them!

08/27/2012 - Received Interview letter, Interview scheduled on Sept. 28th.

09/21/2012 - EAD card under production

09/28/2012 - Interview in Norfolk - No decision yet :(

09/29/2012 - EAD card received in the mail.

10/01/2012 - Case status updated - Approved! YAY!!!!

10/03/1012 - Card Production!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!

10/10/2012 - Green Card received in the mail! It's beautiful!!!
