i would say VERY likely. they wont say no unless they are super busy. im sure it will be just fine.

yes I have three receipt/case numbers to track on USCIS.

i would say VERY likely. they wont say no unless they are super busy. im sure it will be just fine.

okay I'm considering it ... but not sure. Saw around here that doing an earlier walk-in doesn't really speed up the process.

You might never get the hardcopies for those. I saw someone else who that happened to, but it didn't affect anything. At least you know they got them and you can track them.

For walk in biometrics, I don't think it speeds up your interview date, but in some cases it seems to speed up your EAD.

For walk in biometrics, I don't think it speeds up your interview date, but in some cases it seems to speed up your EAD.

I didn't apply for an EAD because I'm already employed under H-1.

We didn't do walk in biometrics and still received the interview notice less than 2 months after filing. But we didn't get the EAD until after we had our interview. :)

urgh I'm torn. I'm tempted to try for a walk-in, but if that is unsuccessful, I don't want to have had to take two days off work to get it done.

by the way, is the I-485 NOA different from the biometrics appointment sheet? Because I only have the "appointment sheet".

yes they are 2 seperate letters. sounds to me like your letter got either lost in the mail, sent to a wrong adress or simply not sent yet. the last option would make almost no sense to me tho
