Adjustment of Status Journey

Day 000- 07/24/2012 - I-130 & I-485 concurrently filed (including I-765) and mailed to Chicago Lockbox.

Day 003 - 07/27/2012 - AOS Package received by Immigration.

Day 006- 07/30/2012 - 3 Texts and 3 email confirmations from USCIS for receipt of I-130/ I-485/I-485/I-765

Day 008- 08/01/2012 -3 NOAs for above received in mail.

Day 010- 08/03/2012 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics on 08/22/2012 @ 10:00 am.

Day 029- 08/22/2012 - Biometrics at ASC Atlanta, Ga

Day 058 - USCIS CLAIMS to have sent out an Interview letter on this date. Never received the letter

Day 059- 09/21/2012 - Call to USCIS requesting service from L2 officer. Promised response in 5 days.

Day 065- 09/27/2012 - Text confirmation of EAD Card Production.

Day 071- 10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card mailed to address on file.

Day 071-10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS picking up mail.

Day 077- 10/09/2012 - Called USCIS to see if interview letter had ever been sent out (on advisement from helpful VJ member). L2 Officer comfirms that an interview letter was sent out on 09/20/2012. Advised to call USCIS 5 days before interview date to get a faxed copy of letter...???

Day 092- 10/24/2012 - Interview...APPROVED. Thank YOU, LORD!

Day 099- 10/31/2012 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED. What a wonderful feeling!

I guess I'm not quite sure how to call them up and cause a ruckus haha. When I spoke to a second tier rep, they were pretty forthcoming with information, and seemed pretty certain that an interview date hadn't been set. Do you think it will be worth me making an Infopass appointment, will it actually do any good? The problem with our lawyer is that we only have him to represent us at the interview, all the paperwork and everything else was done by us, so they can't get too involved as we havent paid them to get too involved.

Its even more disheartening seeing people who filed in September getting interview notices, whilst were still sat here doing nothing!

I know, and I thought she waited a long time for her interview at just short of 100 days. Problem is, im now about to reach 4 months without notice.

I can't help but worry, seeing as I don't think there is a person on here from looking at peoples timelines who has waited this long for an interview notice!!

So, frustrating!!

AOS Journey

Day 0 - 07/10/2012 - AOS package (I-130,I-485, I-175) mailed to Chicago with FedEx.

Day 1 - 07/11/2012 - Confirmation from FedEx that package arrived and was signed for.

Day 3 - 07/13/2012 - Text confirmation from USCIS of receipt.

Day 4 - 07/14/2012 - Online banking shows that cheques were cashed.

Day 9 - 07/19/2012 - Received 3 out of 3 NOA letters in the post.

Day 11 - 07/21/2012 - Received biometrics appointment letter, appointed set for 08/07/2012.

Day 16 - 07/26/2012 - Completed biometrics walk in.

Day 56 - 09/04/2012 - Received text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 59 - 09/07/2012 - Received 2nd text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 62 - 09/10/2012 - Text notification that EAD has been mailed.

Day 64 - 09/12/2012 - EAD received in the mail.

Hey guys.....Just got status update that the green card has been mailed out. So happy.

AOS Journey

Day 0 - 7/16 - Sent my I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

Day 2 - 7/18 - Got confirmation from UPS that package was received in Chicago today - signed for by CHYBA

Day 4 - 7/20 - Text and Email Notification from USCIS

Day 5 - 7/21 - Checks Cashed

Day 11 - 7/27 - Received all 4 NOAs

Day 14 - 7/30 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics) for 08/22/2012 in NYC

Day 16 - 8/1 - Walk-in Biometrics completed at the Varick Street USCIS office

Day 64 - 9/18 - Notification for i485 saying Interview is on October 24th

Day 65 - 9/19 - Notification for production of EAD card

Day 65 - 9/19 - Notification that "mailed you a notice that we approved I131 TRAVEL DOCUMENT"

Day 73 - 9/27 - Received EAD and Advance Parole "Combo" Card

Day 100- 10/24 - Interview - Approved!!

Day 106 - 10/30 - Status Update that Card has been mailed.

Received GC in mail on 27 oct , thanks to every one in this forum who helped me understanding the timeline and quick response for the concerns. Hope every one's process complete in smooth way , all the best to all.

July 30, 2012: NOA for I-485,I-131,I-765

August 02, 2012: Biometrics appointment for (08/27)

August 27, 2012: Biometrics Done ..

September 13, 2012: Interview Notice Received (10/18/2012)

September 18, 2012: Card production ordered for EAD&AP

September 26, 2012: Received EAD.

October 18, 2012: Approved on spot

October 27, 2012: Received GC in mail.
