Yes, I just called the NVC today and they said there are two Police Certificates from Brazil. One is a certificate of Good Conduct from the Civil Police. The other is a criminal record from the Federal Police. So essentially one from the state and one from the federal government. I was told the internet form is not official enough and that you need to go in person to pick them up....

Please anyone correct me if I am wrong?

The Policia Federal one you could get in the net and take to the Brazilian Consulate were they will certificate and translate making a legal copy! I done mine here in London.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get the online requested police records in Brazil? Is it something that happens instantly or does it take a while like the ones requested in person?
