Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if your supposed to send in evidence (letters, plane tickets, etc..) when sending in your application for AOS. Me and my husband filed for our AOS June 7 and I already had my biometrics june 27, just waiting on my EAD now at the moment..

Im just seeing lots of people on there timelines on here with lots of RFE's like this:

Sent in AOS documents

had biometrics

RFE

Another RFE

Got EAD in hand

etc..

Im not understanding what the RFE's are for when filing for your AOS...

You don't need to send any relationship evidence with the AOS application apart from the marriage certificate. You will need some if you end up having an interview, though many K-1s don't have an interview. Most AOS RFEs are for the I-864 and associated documents.
