We are in this journey with the K1 and Sweetie and I were wondering if this means we have to get married only in the USA once we get the visa. Any chance of doing it elsewhere then transferring the certificate/registering its validity in the USA? Anyone know?? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

on a k1 visa you must be married in the US within 90 days of arrival to the US. No exceptions, you cannot get married in another country on a k1 visa

Please study the forms and guides more closely. The K1 visa is for an alien fiance(e) to enter the US and marry within 90 days.

The K1 requires that your fiance ( unmarried person ) enter the US and become married within 90 days without leaving. Hard to get married elsewhere with those rules.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
