we filed in July and received our NOA 1 on 13 July.....at first i was very discouraged with how slow VSC has been, but I also took a step back to realize that the population on VJ is probably a fraction of the real number out there, so there really is no way of knowing how fast/slow this all might be. And then, there was a thread from today that saw someone's NOA2 in less than 4 months out of the VSC. So, we are optimistic but with a realistic attitude that we just don't have control of this stage and to just hope and pray for the best!! :)

July filer here! I'm getting more excited and anxious by the day, when I see that some CSC mid June filers have already received their NOA2's. I can only wish and hope that our wait will be similar to theirs, but there's no real way of telling when that elusive NOA2 will come. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that CSC continues at the speed they've been going lately.

I don't really want to rain in on you guys' parade and I do hope everyone gets approved fast... but clicking my timeline you will see that I am an early june filer who has yet to see any change to the status of his case... not even a touch.

The only reason I mention this is that because of some of the posters on this site who were approved very fast, I have been (and continue to be) extremely anxious and nervous all day every day for the past month, checking the USCIS website 20 times a day hoping that my status will change, when before I had seen those posts I would only check maybe once a week for a touch just for curiosity's sake because I expected the process to take 5 months.

I guess what I'm saying is: Don't be like me!!! I was completely happy before I was made aware of the fact that CSC might be moving fast. Now I'm just nervous and anxious... ALL... DAY... LONG... Not such a great feeling after some time, trust me.

I wish you all the best of luck!

Well I've seen several posts that say they didn't see any status updates or touches until they got the approval notice. So no touches doesn't necessarily mean anything. And looking at your timeline, it predicts your approval sometime between Sept 4-15 so you could still get approved within your predicted time frame. So I'll keep my positive outlook thank u very much! :D

I will be ecstatic to receive my NOA2 in the estimated time, however I'm so busy with work and finishing school that its like I don't even have the time to worry about it. It will happen in due time, and besides my original estimation was the end of November, so if I receive an approval before then its all good!!

I'm not 100% sure but I have read about other people on here getting everything returned due to the cheque not being correctly written out. Sorry to potentially be the bearer of bad news.

I read the opposite, some people have made it to USCIS and as long as the amount was correct, it's okay.
