We called USCIS today. Our NOA1 date was July 23 but we were told our 5th month is 23rd of January 2013. I told the tier2 that our 5th month was up on Dec 23,2012 and she stated that CSC is processing July 16th. I called several times last Dec. and they told me the same thing. So, it's like they are processing July 16th petitions for almost a month?

I asked her if we can submit a service request and she said she could not do that. Our NOA2 would not be considered past due until CSC is processing July 23 or later and we still don't get any updates.

This is getting a frustrating since I called them last Dec 28 and I was told to give it 5-10 more days. Anyone who has called recently and got the same info? We all have been really patient but it would make us all feel better if we can at least get straight answers and would know what is really going on. CSC used to be the fastest center but these past months, they became really slow with processing.

Thats is exactly what they told my fiance. We got our NOA on August 8 and on January 8 its 6 months. Lol.... They can't count or? :P

They told him August to September is one month so they start counting from September. As weird as it is, it's a fact so a little bit more patience !!!

Ok everyone who is waiting and worrying...you NEED to look at your ESTIMATED DATE OF ADJUDICATION...that is, go to you VJ TIMELINE and then scroll down to see your estimated date of ajudication. It should be a window of a week or two. Ours, as with most others, was approved right within that timeframe. IMHO I would not bother worrying or calling until that window has passed. Ours came in 5 months 3 weeks from Vermont...perfectly within the estimated timing. I did not call...I did not freak out (much)...I took up embroidery.

As to why some people within a day or so from you get theirs earlier (I cannot guess as to how that one person got theirs in October unless a fluke or expedited for some reason)...as I was saying...There are posts on here from ex-employees that detail the internal process. Our petitions essentially collect dust until they are assigned to a processor who then allows it to sit around until they can get to it. They do this in chronological order FOR THAT PROCESSOR. So, if your petition goes to someone who is faster...then you may get yours a week or two before another who has similar NOA2 date..luck of the draw so-to-speak.

As for people who are waiting who submitted after July...it is a nearly SIX MONTH wait for VSC. Take up knitting or painting :D it sucks..but there is really no need to WORRY.

Wow I have never seen that before!!!! I would find out what the average is for CSC and then figure our a guess-timite window from there. For example, VSC is working at about 5 months 3 weeks ...so if you were with VSC I would say add 5 months 3 weeks to your NOA1 date and make that "DATE A" then add a week to that date making "DATE B"...thus having your estimated date of adjudication window being DATE A to DATE B. Make sense?

Wow now these people cannot count haha! you are the second person I have seen without an estimated date of adjudication on your timeline. I don't know if it differs based on country  My fiance is from England. That said, your estimated window should start at about 5 months 3 weeks after your NOA1...so you should be HOPEFULLY hearing something in the next couple of weeks! Hang in there  it should be soon.

My fiance will call in 3 hours!

He will ask kindly if they is any problems or whatever because in the website (from USCIS) says CSC takes 5 months to process the I-129F Petition. So..

I took at look at CSC estimated processing ...it seems it is at 5 months...so that means you should hear something any day now!! Yay!! Keep us posted and best of luck!!!!

We're on CSC ,they said it takes 5 months. 5 Months (according to them) will be on January 8 so when that happens we will do a service request (if we hear nothing). (I'm more terrified about the interview and not so much about the noa2 though lol)

I know a few people who went through the interview and said it was easy as pie. Apparently there are two interviews they go with ...one if you are suspicious and another (very fast and simple one) if you aren't. That said, it differs from embassy to embassy so...by all means talk to people who have been interviewed at yours. Also, if you haven't done so already you can research your embassy on here :)

if that adjudication date is within the first day after the 5 month and the 7th as you say, then i already passed that point. I'm not sure if I should make a service request a soon as i get back to land or not. (I'm enlisted in the coast guard and i'm currenlty at sea on a patrol)
