What is dream act application? I saw some people talked about it but I have no idea what that is. Anyways.. Thanks to my lazy lawyer, I got the NOA1 on July 30th! :( I submitted the petition to him on July 17th... Come on CSC!!! We're dying waiting for approvals here.....

Any of our July filers has updates/approvals as of late? My VJ estimated approval time has already passed, but it's still within the 5 month allocated processing time from CSC. I really hope we can get some sort of feedback soon, the longer wait makes me anxious and think that I might get RFE'd. =(

Of course. Mine was for proof of meeting within the past two years before filing for the petition. I guess we didn't read it close enough; we thought the paragraph explaining how we met would suffice. In hindsight, how silly of us :) It seemed so easy,

I just checked my timeline and now it says that I will probably get the NOA2 on Oct 28 to Nov 6th. It moved back a lot... It used to be Oct 23rd to 31st.. I'm so sad and anxious. It was a good progress early this month. People were getting approvals. But now, CSC has been idle and oh God... I feel so depressed about it..

I think it's probably best that you got an RFE. It looks as though CSC has moved onto approving different types of visas (since that got so 'ahead' with the K1s). The only ones approved in the last few weeks have been applications with an RFE. So you shouldn't have long to wait, once you send it back in. Good luck!

You guys need to relax some. Counting your chickens before they've even hatched. I keep seeing complaints about estimated times. The only estimate you should be paying attention to is uscis 5 month, not 'they got approved in 70 days, how come we're already at 80+?!!?!?!'. Sit tight, you're all still next, when csc does start moving again, you'll get noa2 right away. For all we know people might be taking vacation time for holidays, maybe working on other visa types, maybe they contract their staff out to other centers. You're gonna drive yourselves insane expecting anything right away. If it hits December and still no movement, then it's time to take action/get depressed/call.

This is all such a catastrophe... We got hype and hysteria of csc filers expecting ultra fast approval and the beginnings of disappointment, as the service centre abruptly fails to keep up the pace everyone was expecting. Then on the other side we got vsc filers in a state of uncertainty, hoping we don't become club 200 members. Getting a lil hopeful as we see some april filers approved in 6-1/2 months, then realising there's still april/may/june to clear before ours even gets touched.

TRUE! I hear you. We just need to sit back, relax, wait and pray. I think we the July filers were just surprised that why exactly on our time? but then again, we can't do anything at all. the positive side of it is, we're next in line. and now you VSCs are back on the track! a good stuff  Good luck to everyone in this journey, may it be CSC or VSC! We are all under one roof...
