Question about future CR-1

I'm Indian and my gf is American. If we marry and apply for a CR-1 visa, will my family be involved at all in the process? What I mean is, will they be involved in any questioning by the embassy? Is it possible that my family will be called?

CR-1 category has nothing to do with your parents. It's a spouse marriage based green card.

I would like to add that marriage between Indian and American (white or black) is very hard to register, due to Indian marriage laws.

I have a lot of relatives and friends who married to American (wife / husband), and none them had an issue to register their marriage (in India if married there or in USA).
