The heartburn is the worst! They say that there actually is a genuine correlation between the amount of hair a baby is born with, and the mother experiencing heartburn in pregnancy. Pretty cool. :)

Yep. The increase in estrogen causes the heartburn and increased estrogen = more hair on the babies hair. I feel bad for mum 'cause I had HEAPS of hair! http://www.irishhealth.com/article.html?id=11041

Also the increase in hormones is the reason why the mum's hair gets thicker and shinier during pregnancy. After birth a lot of women report their hair falling out in alarming amounts and freaking out about it but really you're returning to your "normal" hair amount, not going bald :)

God knows I need some baldness :rofl: I don't know what to do with no energy and this mass amount of hair!
