Nobody knows when you will get there. Visa journey puts up a guess based on everybody's timeline. It's an average of a small sample of people that use Visa Journey, not every petition sent to USCIS. So VJ is guessing your petition should be approved very soon. Keep in mind what an "average" is--some are faster and some are slower so the average is somewhere in the middle between the fastest and slowest. USCIS will usually report some of their slowest dates and not say when the faster ones processed.

I was getting very frustrated with my petition as well. Had similar thoughts of scraping it and trying things the easy way. So glad I stuck with it, as it gets easier. Even though you want a quick answer that will solve all of your problems, the only thing you can do is wait for them to finish it. Taking longer doesn't always mean something is wrong. I had all of my paperwork filed perfectly, and mine still took about 6.5 months, even though a lot of people around me were finishing sooner. Patience pays in this case. Just Skype, email, and call your fiance to keep yourself occupied. Start working on preparing for the interview. Get proof together and worry about your next step.

Good luck

Many service centers currently experience delays. I have seen many K1 petitions take 6-8 month for approval.

If you scraped it and married, this will be even longer since I-130 is not processed faster though.

I know you are frustrated, but you are almost there.

Hang in there man, the 8 months being apart is nothing compared to the lifetime together you will have with your loved one.
