NVC hasn't received my file

I received my NOA2 on June 15th. I have been calling every day waiting to hear "We have it...". But so far nothing. They keep saying that i am not in the system yet.

Today, it has reached 15 working days since then. And they told me that it should be there by now. So they gave me the email nvcresearch@state.gov and told me to email them a scanned copy of my NOA2 letter for them to research and figure out where my file is. This is so frustrating.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does this happen often? Is there anything I am do to speed up the process? Is this something I should worry about?

Happened to me as well. I sent a scan in yesterday and am now in "wait and see" mode. I'll try calling again at the end of the week to see if there is an update.

AP/EAD Approved: April 29, 2013 | Card Received: May 6, 2013 | AOS Interview Appt.: May 16, 2013 - Approved Review Card Received: May 24, 2013

My 15th day will be tomorrow. Guess I should scan my letter today.

K1 Process -

1/30/12 - I-129F sent

2/2/12 - NOA1 Received (CSC)

2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

7/23/12 - Medical Exam Passed

7/27/12 - Interview

8/4/12 - POE Denver, CO

9/14/12 - Wedding #1 (Denver Courthouse)

9/17/12 - AOS/EAD sent

9/19/12 - AOS/EAD NOA1

10/23/12 - Biometrics

1/16/23 - AOS Interview

6/15/13 - Wedding #2 (Colorado)

6/22/13 - Wedding #3 (Moldova)

It's normal nowadays to get case number more than 15 days. We got ours after 42 days. We were informed on the 14th of May then notified that they had received our case on June 15.

We also did everything to get our case number and it's really so frustrating that time but you will definitely get your case number as well.. God bless.:)

Not sure how it works with spousal petitions, you may want to ask that question in the spousal visa forum. :thumbs:

In my case (K-1), our approved petition was sitting in the CSC mail room for close to a month. It was mailed to the NVC on July 12 and I received the consular number on July 17.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
